We were truly touched by The Venue Theatre's touching story to honor Maggie Long! We personally did not know Maggie, but the stories we have heard about her selflessness character, her caring and loving ways, made this story touch our hearts 💙. The staff at Scooter's encourages those who dine with us to drop off a pair of socks for this worthy cause! We know it's that time of year where money seems to be a little tight and others are also asking for donations, so if you can we will have a drop off box in the restaurant. We will take donations on our open days beginning Dec. 5th to Dec. 14th. Thank you ❣

Our day started with very gusty winds, so windy we could not put on meat for tomorrow. The lights flickered all day, had no internet for the POS system from time to time. The electricity went out in the area for several hours, so we fed a lot of folks who had no service. We thought we had escaped the power issues. THEN at closing.......the lights went out!! When the power came back on, some equipment and lights did not, had no water. So with all that said, we will not be opening tomorrow! Tomorrow is Small Business Saturday! Shop Small, Shop Local! Have a nice weekend!
